NHL Regular Season Schedule (2024-25)
The 2024-25 NHL season gets going in early October just like past seasons. We’ll enjoy games every week for our favorite teams until its playoff time in April. We’ll get some more international games this year too. In early November, we’ll enjoy the Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers playing at the Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland. The NHL regular season sees each team playing 82 games this year. This is also the first season for the Utah Hockey Club to play in the NHL after the Arizona Coyotes deactivated.

When is the 4 Nation Faceoff and What is It?
There is no NHL All Star game this season. For 2024-25, we get the 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament. This is a preview and prep for the NHL returning to playing in the Olympics in the 2026 games. There will be four teams that have NHL players from Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States in the games. There will be seven games played between February 12th-20th, 2025. If you plan to attend any of the games, they will be held at either Boston’s TD Garden or the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
Is there a 2024-25 NHL Winter Classic ?
The short answer is yes. The 2024-25 NHL Winter Classic is on December 31st, 2024. The game sees the Chicago Blackhawks host the St. Louis Blues at Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL. What’s cooler than watching hockey at Wrigley Field during the NHL regular season schedule?
What Teams are Playing in the 2024-25 NHL Stadium Series?
There is only one Stadium Series game for the 2024-25 NHL regular season. We get to see the Columbus Blue Jackets host the Detroit Red Wings at Ohio Stadium at the Ohio State University on March 1st, 2025. This will be the first time that Columbus has played in the Stadium Series.
